Background:
As a child, his parents told him not to “play with” fire. Unfortunately he tended to set things alight without meaning too.
After burning down his family home, his school, and the local library he was sent away to an elite private school, which he soon burnt down as well.
After moving into an abandoned stone tower he discovered a cache of magical tomes and began studying to control his powers.
What others say about him:
Always ready to give you a light when you need one, and a very popular guest at barbecues. Tends to be a little hot-headed.

Background:
Born into a family of fanatic Orn worshipers she was forced to participate in every thinkable Orn ritual suitable for young children and teens. The lunatic shaman of her village had predicted that she was the rebirth of a great sorceress of ancient times, which she definitively didn’t believe.
Although in this period she tried to oppose her forced development by not doing as she was told (classical child and teenage resistance), she developed exceptional skills controlling the Orn of Life.
The last remaining element of this teenage opposition is her love for fancy clothing. She wants to become Arcmage as in the debth of her hart she actually loves magic, especially the Orn of Fire. The Orn her fanatic family fears most.

Background:
He always wanted to become Arcmage. But his parents couldn’t afford the Imperial Academy of Orn so they sent him to the cheapest magic teaching institution, the School of Smellalot. He learned little besides magic that let’s the air smell very badly. Very unsatisfied with his academic career and knowing he was born for greater he joined a circus where he learned from a rundown magician the basics of the different Orn forces. Unlocking his talent he quickly became the stage magician (the other magican somehow magically disappeared). Especially gifted in controlling the Orn of Air he now seeks further fame in becoming the Arcmage of the Empire.
What others say about him:
If he’s there and you smell a fart, run! It will be gruesome for sure! He’s great if you have wet hair or clothes, or if you need to blow away leaves.
Character: Witch of the Burbling Rivulet

The Orn of Water
Background:
Suffering from an intense hydrophobia in her childhood she learned to use the Orn of Water very early to keep water way away of her. Until the age of 16 she only touched a drop of water once and this only by mistake, leading to her destroying her village. In order to keep water away from her she learned quite a bit of control over the Orn of Fire, Life and Air. After her teenage years the Empire discovered her exceptional skills with water and she was forced into a career in the imperial navy. Although she managed to overcome her hydrophobia through several unpleasant events during that time, she now wants to become Imperial Arcmage take revenge at one particular superior of the navy.
What others say about her:
If during a summer party you decide to do a water battle, better be on her side or you’ll be soaking wet in no time.
